By placing a Tensor One pre-order, you agree to pricing, estimated fulfillment timelines, and post-purchase communication for shipping confirmation where applicable.

Pre-orders

Tensor One orders are processed as pre-orders. Delivery timing may vary based on production and logistics.

Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Available payment methods, including TWINT where eligible, are determined by Stripe and customer region. Any import duties or taxes may be payable on delivery for international shipments. Shipping destinations and rates are listed on our Shipping & Returns page.

VAT

Swiss addresses

PostPeripheral is a Swiss GmbH registered in Switzerland. Our annual turnover is below the mandatory VAT registration threshold as defined under the Swiss Federal VAT Act (MWSTG/LTVA). Accordingly, we are not registered for Swiss VAT (MWST) and no VAT is levied on our invoices or transactions. All prices displayed are final and VAT-exclusive.

Where our VAT registration number is listed as not applicable, the term "incl. VAT / incl. MWST" shown alongside prices indicates that the price is VAT-exclusive: no VAT is charged, and VAT will not be listed as a separate line item on your invoice.

Non-Swiss addresses

For deliveries outside Switzerland, any import VAT, customs duties, and other import fees are the responsibility of the customer and are payable on delivery. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in our prices.

We are working on establishing an EU VAT and USA sales tax inclusive scheme so that these amounts can be collected at checkout, but this is not yet available.

Right of withdrawal & returns

Consumers in the EU and UK have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. This and our return conditions, including how to exercise withdrawal and any exceptions, are set out on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms. Your statutory warranty rights for defective goods remain unaffected.

Machine modifications & manufacturer warranty

Tensor One is an aftermarket modification intended to be installed on a third-party coffee machine. Installing modifications may void the machine manufacturer's warranty. PostPeripheral is not the manufacturer of your coffee machine and is not responsible for any damage to the machine, loss, or other consequences arising from the installation, use, or removal of our products. Installation is undertaken at your own risk.

Installation of the Tensor One

Installing the Tensor One means opening a La Marzocco Linea Micra and working on its plumbing, steam line, and mains-powered electrical connections. By proceeding with the installation, the customer confirms and accepts the following:

  1. The customer has read the installation instructions in full and understands every step before beginning the installation of the Tensor One on their machine.
  2. The customer confirms that they have the technical competence, the required tools, and the time needed to install the Tensor One on their machine themselves, or that the installation will be carried out by a suitably qualified technician.
  3. The customer understands that the installation involves disconnecting the machine from mains power, opening its case, and working with hot-water plumbing, the steam line, and electrical connections, and that this work is carried out at the customer's own risk.
  4. The machine must be turned off and unplugged for at least 2 hours before the installation begins, so that the machine and its internal parts have returned to a safe temperature and no pressure remains in the system, and must stay unplugged until the instructions call for the installation to be tested.
  5. Tensor Coffee (PostPeripheral GmbH) is not responsible for any damage to the machine, to the Tensor One, or to other property, nor for any personal injury, that may occur during the installation or the subsequent use of the product.
  6. Modifying the machine may affect its manufacturer's warranty. Tensor Coffee (PostPeripheral GmbH) accepts no liability for any resulting loss of warranty coverage.
  7. The liability of Tensor Coffee (PostPeripheral GmbH) is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
  8. If the customer is unsure about any step, they should stop and contact support@tensorcoffee.com before continuing.
